The Mudi 7 provides fast, portable 5G WiFi on location, giving crews, clients and production teams reliable internet access wherever cellular connectivity is available. Designed for fast deployment, it is configured as true plug-and-play: switch it on, it connects to the mobile network and automatically creates a WiFi network.

Supplied as standard with dual UK data SIMs from O2 and Vodafone, the Mudi 7 offers broad UK-wide 5G coverage and is configured to switch networks automatically as coverage changes, with fallback to 4G where 5G networks are not available. Unlimited UK SIM data is included in the rental cost.

Wi-Fi 7 tri-band performance allows multiple devices to connect with improved stability and reduced congestion, which becomes increasingly important as more departments rely on cloud-based tools, messaging and live services. The unit also features a 2.5G Ethernet port for direct wired connections to computers, switches or network equipment where required.

In typical production use, we recommend the Mudi 7 for approximately 50 concurrent users or connected devices, depending on the type of activity and network demand at any given time.

The Mudi 7 includes an internal battery providing up to 13 hours of standalone operation, and can also be powered via USB-C. This makes it easy to run from location power, vehicles or power banks. It is compact, self-contained and quick to reposition as the production moves.

The Mudi 7 can be used as a standalone 5G WiFi solution, or as part of a wider connectivity setup. It works comfortably alongside systems such as Starlink and Peplink, providing additional capacity, redundancy or coverage where required. WiFi range can also be extended using access points (APs), allowing the system to scale beyond a single room or unit base.
