The Starlink Mini is Starlink’s most compact and portable satellite internet system, designed for fast, reliable connectivity in remote or mobile environments. Lightweight and easy to transport, the Mini is ideal for productions where space, power, or setup time is limited.

Provided it has a clear and unobstructed view of the sky, the Starlink Mini is ‘plug and play’—ready to deliver high-speed internet within minutes of setup.

Connecting to Starlink’s global satellite network, the Mini enables internet access in areas without wired or mobile coverage. Typical performance ranges from 40–100 Mbps download and 8–15 Mbps upload, making it suitable for crew Wi-Fi, production file transfers, or remote client streaming. (Speeds may vary depending on location, weather, and network conditions.)

The Starlink Mini offers flexible power options—it can run on standard mains electricity or battery power—and it has significantly lower power consumption than the Gen 3 Standard Kit, making it particularly well suited for remote environments where mains power is limited or unavailable.

While highly portable, the Mini still requires a clear view of the sky to operate reliably, and may not be suitable for heavily built-up or wooded areas. Remote or on-site surveys can be arranged to assess your intended location.

We recommend the Starlink Mini for lightweight, mobile productions, compact setups, or as a backup connectivity solution alongside a full-size Starlink Gen 3 system.

Additional networking hardware (e.g. routers, access points) is available if a more advanced setup is required.
