The Jackery SolarSaga 100W is a foldable, portable solar panel designed to work alongside the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus power station. Compact and easy to set up, it provides a clean, silent way to extend runtime by trickle-charging the power bank when mains power isn’t available.

With an output of up to 100W in optimal conditions, the SolarSaga panel is best viewed as a top-up charging solution rather than a replacement for a generator. In UK weather, real-world output will vary significantly, but it can still help keep a battery power bank topped up and maintain continuity of supply for essential kit. We can supply multiple SolarSaga panels with each Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus, and for most deplyoments we recommend using two panels together to achieve a more useful level of charging performance.

The panel features a lightweight, foldable design with integrated kickstands for quick deployment, and an ETFE-laminated, splash-resistant (IP68) surface for outdoor durability. Alongside charging the power bank, it also includes USB-C and USB-A outputs, allowing phones, tablets or smaller accessories to be charged directly from the panel. Weighing just under 5 kg and folding down with a carry handle, it’s an easy addition to your kit load-out.

By harnessing renewable energy, the SolarSaga offers a zero-emission charging option that helps to promote more sustainable, low-impact filmmaking – avoiding the noise, fumes and fuel demands of traditional generators.
