The ARRI M-Series range of HMI lamps is based around MAX Technology, a unique, patented reflector design that unifies the advantages of a Fresnel and a PAR fixtures. As the smallest light in the range, the ARRI M8 is compact, lightweight and has an output comparable to a 1.2K HMI Fresnel or PAR. These features make it a highly versatile daylight source, especially when domestic AC mains or a small generator is the only available power source.
Our ARRI M8 kits include a Power Gems EB180PD High Speed Ballast which is capable of operating in flicker free mode at up to 1000Hz.
We also stock the ARRI M18 and M40 fixtures should you require a more powerful daylight source.
