Following the renowned 2060HD, the 2065 shares the same design as O’Connor’s higher-payload fluid heads like the 2575D. Pan and tilt controls are located on the left side of the head so operation is both intuitive and familiar.
We supply our O’Connor heads with MOY fittings as standard, though a 150mm bowl adaptor is available upon request.
The 1030DS fluid-head tripod combines the quality and precision handling found in the larger 2575D and 2065 OConnor cinematography heads but in a smaller, more convenient package.
With a total capacity of 24kg, it is most suited to camera payloads of up to 18kg, making it great choice for compact, lightweight builds of cameras such as the ARRI Alexa Mini and Sony VENICE, amongst others.
Users of the larger O’Connor fluid heads will also appreciate the cine-style Mini Euro Quick Release system fitted to the 1030DS tripod which enables fast & secure camera loading.
Two-stage lightweight tripod legs with a 100mm bowl fitting & mid-level spreader complete our 1030DS support package.
We also stock the smaller capacity OConnor 1030D fluid head tripod for when an even more compact shooting package is required.
The 1030D is the smaller sibling in the OConnor fluid head range. Whilst rated for cameras weighing up to 17.7kg, it is most suited handling payloads of up to 13.6kg. This makes it an ideal choice for lightweight, shooting configurations using cameras including the Sony VENICE, Alexa Mini & Sony PXW-FS7.
It also retains the famous OConnor feel found on heads such as the 2575D and is consequently recommended for cinematic style shooting using smaller, more compact cameras.
Users of the larger OConnor fluid heads will also appreciate the cine-style Mini Euro Quick Release system fitted to the 1030D tripod which enables fast & secure camera loading.
Two-stage lightweight tripod legs with a 100mm bowl fitting & mid-level spreader complete our 1030D support package.
For larger/heavier camera payloads, we also hire the OConnor 1030DS fluid head tripod.
Shoot Blue is an amazing rental company who's reliable and competitive in what they offer. I've had the opportunity to work with them on several different projects and their service has always been top. Highly recommended!
Shoot Blue have been my supplier of choice since 2007 ever since they were first recommended to me. Even if you're just doing a small shoot you're treated with the same care and attention as when you're on a big shoot and they go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Their prices are very competitive and the service is top notch and I always feel comfortable turning to them for advice and asking for recommendations on kit. When you hire their in house crew to work on your shoots the crew members are always really knowledgeable about the equipment and well trained, they are reliable and come to the set with a positive attitude and work hard to get the best results possible. I would highly recommend them to any independent filmmakers.
As a business owner, Director Shoot Blue has helped me build who I am as a story teller behind the camera. In my view the most important thing to my success as a story teller is knowing that I have a rental house you can always depend on. Shoot Blue has delivered outstanding service time after time again. Great job to the team :)
Shoot Blue are a fantastic rental firm with lovely staff and awesome equipment. They supported my recent commercial production very well indeed and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend them to any size project. They deliverted and collected the kit as neccesary, modified the order when production requirements changed and generally helped the whole process go smoothly.
