The Instagrid ONE max is a high-capacity, professional-grade portable power unit, providing 2.1 kWh of energy with a single-phase 230 V AC output. Compact, ruggedly built, and weather-resistant (IP54), it is designed to handle the demands of harsh set life and is ideally suited for location shooting where conventional generators may be impractical.

Unlike many large portable batteries, the Instagrid delivers true AC mains power rather than DC, making it compatible with a wide range of production equipment. It is particularly well suited to supporting a LED lighting setup, offering a reliable, silent power source for fixtures on location. A peak boost mode also enables it to handle short bursts of higher draw, which can be useful when powering multiple lights or other equipment with variable demand.

Beyond lighting, the Instagrid is equally capable of supporting DIT carts, video village, camera battery charging and other AC-powered equipment. Recharging the unit is straightforward: from empty to full takes approximately 2.5 hours using a standard 13 A mains supply.

The Instagrid provides a single 16 A outlet, and we can supply extension cables, splitters and step up/step down adapters to connect a wide range of AC equipment.

As a zero-emission alternative to conventional generators, the Instagrid offers a cleaner, quieter way of powering equipment on set, helping productions reduce their environmental impact without compromising on performance.

For productions requiring AC power for production office equipment, laptops, or smaller lighting loads, we also offer the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus as a lower-cost alternative. While not weather-resistant or designed for high-draw setups, the Jackery is a flexible option for powering day-to-day kit and supporting zero-emission workflows on location.
