The Dana Dolly is an excellent, flexible choice when tracking camera movement is required, but time, space (and often budget) might not allow a larger or more complex dolly to be used. Many of our clients also find it useful to have to Dana Dolly in reserve when using a heavyweight dolly such as a Chapman PeeWee. The Dana Dolly is extremely fast to setup and can be used on MOY track, either by itself or sharing the track with the larger dolly for some B-cam shots.

It’s also a dolly system that well suited to travel – regular 1 1/2″ scaffolding tubes can be sourced locally and used as track, so excess baggage and transport costs are reduced.

The Dana Dolly is equipped natively with a MOY/Mitchell mount, but 150mm, 100mm & 75mm bowl tripod adapters are supplied with the kit. The kit also comes with universal track ends, which can be used to hold the speedrail in place directly on the floor, raised using appleboxes or supported using lighting stands with a junior receiver.

Our Dana Dolly Universal Kit is not supplied with track/tubing as standard. We have several track options available, including regular MOY track, lightweight alluminimum track as well a speedrail/tubing in a range of lengths.
