Shoot Blue were proud to provide Haus Pictures with Sony FS7 & Sony FS700 shooting packages for their recent project for Beating Heart (www.beating-heart.co.uk) in Malawi.

Capturing the party atmosphere of Rudimental’s new charity song “The Work” (https://youtu.be/-aAfxwzUKCc), working with samples of African music recorded over the last 90 years, Haus have produced an evocative video to coincide with the launch of the charity’s album Beating Heart – Malawi.

Shot in little over a week, our “run-and-gun” Sony camera packages – featuring ARRI camera cages and comprehensive accessories – helped the Haus Pictures team work quickly and effectively in the field. Producer Harri Kamalanathan was impressed with the camera’s aptitude for “capturing everything continuously without the need for continuous data-wrangling or a focus puller”, adding that the images recorded allowed them to bring the “amazing natural colours of Malawi to life in the grade [with] Jason Wallis from Electric Theatre Collective”.
