The XDCA expansion unit is an optional (but often essential) accessory for use with Sony FS7 & FS7 II cameras which enables enhanced camera functionality and recording using the popular Apple ProRes 422 codec.
Featuring a V-lock battery plate along with BNC time-code and genlock interfaces, the XDCA unit makes the Sony PXW-FS7 series cameras better suited for multi-camera and broadcast style operation.
