The Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus is a portable power station designed for smaller-scale on-location use. With a 1,264Wh battery and a 2,000W pure sine-wave inverter, it provides reliable power for laptops, production equipment, Starlink WiFi, charging camera batteries, or running smaller LED lighting fixtures.

Unlike many earlier portable batteries that only offered DC or low-voltage outputs, the Explorer 1000 Plus features two UK 3-pin AC outlets, allowing direct connection of mains-powered devices. It also includes dual USB-C ports, alongside additional DC and USB outputs, making it well equipped to handle a wide mix of production equipment.

Lightweight and quiet in operation, the Explorer 1000 Plus is well suited for powering a production office, DIT cart or video village where mains electricity is unavailable or unreliable. It can also handle short bursts of heavier draw, such as boiling a kettle or running a compact appliance, making it a flexible option for crews who need dependable power without the bulk and noise of a generator.

Multiple charging options are supported, including fast wall charging (approx. 100 minutes), car charging and solar input using compatible panels.

For clients working in locations without access to mains power, or those looking for a quieter, emission-free alternative to generators, we can also supply Jackery SolarSaga 100W solar panels as an optional extra. In suitable weather conditions, these provide a practical top-up charging solution, helping to extend runtime and maintain continuity of supply on location.

The Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus offers functionality comparable to other portable power solutions such as EcoFlow and Anker, while providing a reliable, compact option for on-location use. While not a replacement for larger power solutions such as the Instagrid ONE max, the Explorer 1000 Plus fills a different niche: practical, portable power for day-to-day on-set tasks, office support, and smaller lighting or camera applications.

The Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus is not water-resistant or IP-rated and must be kept dry during use. For challenging outdoor conditions where weather resistance is required, we recommend considering our Instagrid power banks.
